After a six month hiatus, I make my return to posting on Sundayscore. In February I started thinking about the possibility of home ownership. After weighing options, taking a critical look at my financial status, and meeting with a broker and realtor I decided to buy a condo.
Big step indeed, and on June 8, I closed on the deal. The next day I began a HUGE undertaking painting the kitchen, dining room, living room, sun room, walk-in closet, and my study. I finished on Wednesday, July 29. In the meantime, the bathroom was gutted, a project which took almost 5 weeks to complete. In between all the painting, I taught summer school, and packed. I’m delighted to say, by August 12, I spent my first night in my new home.
It remains Ordinary Time, transitioning into new spaces, knowing that God continues to accompany me on this journey to a new home. Each day remains gift. I am ready to begin a new SCORE year working with the children, and their parents. stay tuned…. and take a look at the space I call home.
